This lovely holiday rental is a typical Andalucian village house ideally located on the edge of the Sierra Nevada, 20 minutes from the fabulous City of Granada and 30 minutes from the Costa Tropical.

This spacious house was sensitively restored several years ago and is in the centre of Nigüelas - an unspoiled village with several bars, shops, a very friendly atmosphere and great views across the snow-capped peaks of the Sierra Nevada. Walks into the mountains start from the village itself, which is set on the route of the spectacular GR7 cross-European walking route.

Casa la Solea is for people looking for somewhere away from the over-developed Costas and interested in discovering something of the real Spain. You'll not find souvenir shops or English pubs in the village - and a word or two of Spanish does not go amiss.

The Casa is comfortably and tastefully furnished and it accommodates five people very comfortably . It is well-equipped with everything you'd expect and also a few thoughtful extras to make your stay more enjoyable and comfortable - guide books, walking maps, beach umbrellas and a cool bag for example.

The area has plenty to offer - from the wonderful city of Granada to the beaches of the Costa Tropical, excellent walking in the Alpujarras and skiing in the Sierra Nevada. It is easily accessible being just half an hour from Granada airport (now a low-cost flight destination) and an hour and a half from Malaga.
